How Clouds are Formed

In 2019 I began a method of inquiry called How Clouds are Formed. It was about how ideas come to us and how we intervene in these processes. At the same time, it questioned how (the) work produces, versus how the work is produced. In order to elaborate further and give form to these ideas, I developed a set of tools to make my ‘work’ easier in the true definition of tools. These are comprised of The Machine, Maps, Blueprints and the Library card.

  • The Machine provides the potential to act as a site of constructive repair, presenting an opportunity to craft new tools to address ageing or defective components within existing structures
  • Maps are movement and direction
  • Blueprints are traces, (outer)space and landscape
  • The Library card gives access to all these things
